Backend development
Robust C#/.NET services, APIs and data models for business-critical applications, written with the next maintainer in mind.
C# · .NET · SQL · PostgreSQL · event sourcingI design, build and modernise backend systems for companies where software simply has to keep working. Most of my work is in fintech, terminal logistics and legal tech. The more complex the system, the better.

C# · .NET · SQL · PostgreSQL · event sourcingMoving ageing applications to modern .NET step by step, while the business keeps running and no knowledge gets lost along the way.
.NET Framework → .NET · Delphi/WinForms · EF CoreAzure infrastructure and DevOps pipelines that make releasing boring. Everything automated and tested, so a bad release is easy to roll back.
Azure · Azure DevOps · CI/CD · pipelinesBackend development for share registration software, where every number has to be right and every change has to be traceable. I also run the Azure DevOps pipelines and play a key role in the migration to modern .NET.
A central control application for liquid bulk terminals. I translated business requirements into technical designs, built the guidance that steers vehicles across the terminal and took the system to production, including the Azure DevOps pipelines behind it.
Document management and integrations for law firms and financial clients. Part of it was new features, part of it keeping mature codebases healthy.
Before I write any code I want to understand how your business actually works, whether that’s a tank terminal, a share register or a legal workflow.
Sensible architecture and tested code that your own team can take over, with no clever tricks that only I understand.
Automated pipelines, reversible releases, migrations without downtime. The best deployment is one nobody notices.
